The Sumerian civilization is one of the oldest civilizations known to mankind, and it is the most developed and advanced civilization, coexisting with a variety of sciences, music and art. They established modern irrigation systems, invented boats, and others, and spoke the first spoken language.

The Sumerian inscriptions constitute one of the world's most mysterious phenomena, ancient engravings, for example, show visualizations of the positions of the planets in our solar system, and their relative sizes, with surprising clarity, even more surprising is that the Sumerians actually succeeded in describing the exact nature of the planets Neptune and Uranus, and provided information about them that we had access to only in the past few years.

The entity of  Annanuki

Annanuki represent a group of deities in the ancient Sumerian, Akkadian, Assyrian and Babylonian mythological traditions. Descriptions of the Anunnaki and the role they played are inconsistent and it is often contradictory, in the earliest Sumerian writings on the Anunnaki, which came from the post-Akkadian period, the Anunnaki were the most powerful deities in the pantheon, descended from An, the God of the sky, and their primary target was to decide the fates of mankind.

The origin of the word Annanuki

The word Ananunaki appeared in the ancient Sumerian texts describing a highly developed and advanced race, considered one of the gods in the ancient Sumerian civilization.

 A number of historians consider them to be gods, some consider them that coming from heaven, others consider them to be of royal blood (coming from another planet or space galaxy), and others say that they are advanced earthly creatures appointed to be kings over peoples.

And as the legend says they are descendants of the idol (Ann) whose mission is to determine the fate of the human race, they are evolving giants, and most of what was said about them in their myths is that they created the human race by merging their DNA with clay.

And they have a great connection with the celestial bodies, as the goddess (An) was the divine personification of the sky, King of the gods, and ancestor of many of the deities, the use of goddess Ninsianna's name to refer to the planet Venus, Šamaš (Sumerian Utu) is the god of the sun, he brings light and warmth to the land, allowing plants and crops to grow, and Nanna, the Sumerian name for the moon god, may have originally meant only the full moon.

The story of the Annanuki  dates back to 40 thousand or 50 thousand years BC, when aliens came from the planet Nibiru, which the Mayan civilization mentioned that it would collide with the earth, and life would end on it, and it was said after the disasters.

The natural events that occurred in 2020 indicate that we will witness the end of the world after Nibiru approaches Earth.

Their mission to descend to the earth was to obtain gold to restore the atmosphere of their planet, which had become weak.

The Igigi believed that they could defeat the Anunnaki the conflict between the Anunnaki and the Igigi ended with the victory of the Anunnaki, and despite their victory, they lost the labor force represented by this people who were working in the gold mines, so the idol (An) was asked by the son  (Enki) to create a new race of beings to serve them on the condition that they be more developed than the Igigi.

After attempts, Enki succeeded in creating humans, who settled in an area called Eden, Paradise, and mercy in the heavenly books, and the first human on earth was called the legend (Adamu), Adam in all languages and religions.

Hence the similarity between the events  mentioned in the Sumerian legend and the facts mentioned in the heavenly books, in 1849, British researcher Austin Henry Layard found clay tablets dating back to the Sumerian civilization in an archaeological site in Nineveh, Iraq. 

The interesting thing is that these 14 tablets document ancient articulated events mentioned in many religions, most notably the story of the creation of humans, the exit from the Garden of Eden, and the great flood.

According to the accounts in the ancient Sumerian myths, the demands of work became greater and more massive, and the Anunnaki needed to extract more quantities of gold, to restore the atmosphere of their planet, which required a greater number of workers, and the work needed more human reproduction in their hard work in gold mining.

As a result, the human population increased in the colony, which had its opposite effect on the security and order of the colony, forcing the Anunnaki to throw many of them outside the colony.

Hence the story of the expulsion of Adam from the Garden of Eden in the Sumerian myth, but the difference between the Sumerian myth and the religious texts in this regard is that the people expelled from Paradise among the Sumerians are many, while the religious texts refer to only Adam and Eve who were expelled.

And the Anunnaki began to intermarry with humans, which led to the wrath of the god Enlil, the brother of the god Enki, because he was rejecting the idea that a class of people would rule the throne on their planet Nibiru, and he thought of a plan to get rid of them because they were not trustworthy. 

Here, nature intervened, and the Earth witnessed the return of the planet Nibiru to the solar system, it is worth noting that the cycle of Nibiru is 3600 every year, and the entry of the planet during that period constituted an unparalleled natural disaster, as it affected both the sun and the earth and the occurrence of the Great Flood.

At that time, the god Enlil decided to stay on the planet Nibiru, but some of the Anunnaki refused that and decided to stay on earth, including the idol Enki, and they decided to watch the flood of their heavenly chariots that were flying over the earth.  

According to the legend, Enki took pity on his creatures, so he decided to ask a selected group to build lifeboats, and this is similar to the story of Prophet Noah (peace be upon him) found in religious texts, and the flood destroyed the Anunnaki colonies, and this was the reason for the scarcity of Sumerian documents and documents. 

After the flood, the Anunnaki rebuilt the colonies and provided humanity with the advanced Sumerian civilization before returning with their spacecraft again to the planet Nibiru. 

But before leaving, they decided to manipulate the genes of the human race with the aim of installing them as kings over the rest of humanity, so that through them they could control the human race even after their absence from the earth.  

This matter created what is known as the royal race, which strengthened social class over time, and on the authority of these myths, the Anunnaki will return again to rule the human race from the earth, and many have proposed this, including Zakaria Sitchin, who wrote the book the Twelfth Planet.

Sitchin believes that we, as humans, carry the Anunnaki DNA in our bodies, and that civilization did not begin on the surface of the earth until after the Anunnaki arrived to it for the purpose of searching for gold, and that the Anunnaki were using sound as a source of energy. 

These views were very popular and his book was translated into more than twenty languages, but Sitchin specializes in economics, not archeology. 

Sitchin's views faced tough opposition from many, most notably Dr. Michael Heizer, a specialist in Semitic languages and Hebrew, who considered that what Fitchin proposed contradicts our solar system and our celestial bodies, and that what he said depends on personal endeavor, and that the Anunnaki exist in the Sumerian civilization, but they are not associated with the twelfth planet Nibrio .
